In Delhi, Kapil Mishra Calls ‘Love Jihad’ Perpetrators Terrorists

Location: Sonia Vihar, Delhi

During a Vishal Hanuman Chalisa event, Kapil Mishra, Delhi’s Minister of Labour, invoked a recent case in Nashik, where several people were arrested over allegations of sexual assault and “forced religious conversion,” and termed it “love jihad.” He asserted that those involved in “love jihad” are “terrorists,” and called for vigilance, urging people to identify and act against them. He further urged attendees to teach their children about “love jihad” as a threat, alleging that perpetrators conceal their identities, change names, and trap women, and claiming that those who resist are killed. He added that families must play a role in training their daughters and countering those he described as “love jihadi.”
