At the Virat Hindu Sammelan organised by Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad and Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, founder and president Pravin Togadia glorified the Karseva movement and boasted of threatening violence against opponents of the Ram Mandir, declaring, “We will step on their chests, and build the temple.” He alleged that 2000 and 1400 years ago, there were no Christians and Muslims, asserting that only Hindus existed before that. He claimed that wherever Hindus decline, they are killed, looted, or converted. He promoted the campaign “Hindu Hi Aage” to ensure Hindu safety and fearmongered about the demographic shift, alleging that the declining Hindu population would result in Hindu being killed in each home.
