Authorities removed a nearly 60-year-old mazar (shrine) located between Platforms 6 and 7 of the railway station, alleging it was an illegal encroachment on railway land. Officials carried out the removal under heavy police deployment as part of a railway line widening project, following demands by the Hindu Raksha Dal.
