At a Shri Bhagvad Katha, BJP MLA Nandkishore Gurjar contrasted “Bharatiya Sanskriti” with Islam, claiming women are worshipped in Hindu tradition but not in Islam. Referring to the BJP’s victory in West Bengal, he claimed Hindu women had received “real freedom” after 40 years and alleged that Muslims forcibly enter homes and rape women, adding that women are now responding “like Durga” and “drinking their blood.” He further described the present as an era of Hindutva and Sanatan and claimed the world was returning to Hinduism, citing alleged conversions in Indonesia and foreign devotees in Vrindavan.
