Hindu nationalist supporters objected to a Quran recitation held during the inauguration of a newly opened salon, created a ruckus, and complained to the police. The recitation was part of the opening ceremony organised by a Muslim tenant who had rented the shop from a Hindu landlord. They objected to Muslims gathering in a Hindu area, stating that such ceremonies should be held at home instead.
