During the Hindu Sammelan, Manoj Parmar, National President of the Akhil Bharatiya Balai Mahasangh, claimed that slogans in support of Afzal Guru were raised in JNU by Muslims, and declared that they would enter the houses of every “Afzal,” kill them, and destroy every womb that births an “Afzal.” He also declared that those refusing to chant “Vande Mataram” should go back to where their ancestors came from, asserting that one must chant it to live in the country. He claimed that madrasas breed terrorism and teach people to derail and burn trains and buses, with the sole goal of “Ghazwa-e-Hind.” He further fearmongered about the Muslim population, terming it “population jihad,” and also targeted the mosque being built in Murshidabad named after Babri.
