Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal cow vigilantes, led by Mahendra Singh Rajpurohit, chased a pickup truck for nearly 100 km, accusing its occupants of transporting cows for slaughter. After intercepting the vehicle, they threatened the Muslim driver and attempted to force him to “confess” that the cattle were being taken to Maharashtra for slaughter. The vigilantes also attacked a decoy car accompanying the transporters, assaulted the driver, and seized the pickup truck.
