At the program organized on completion of 4 years of state government, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami cited the enactment of laws against religious conversion and riots. He also invoked the anti-Muslim conspiracy theories of “love jihad,” “land jihad,” and “mazar jihad,” asserting that strict action had been taken against them. Dhami also referenced “Operation Kalnemi” and “Intensive Verification Drive” as a campaign targeting “ghuspaithiya” (infiltrators), claiming strict action against them. He claimed the Opposition opposes their actions against dissolution of Madrasa Board and land laws due to votebank politics and accused them of disrupting the demography of the state by settling in “ghuspaithiya.” He asserted that action against alleged “illegal encroachment” warning of strict policies, warning the Opposition like those who do “land jihad.” Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised Dhami government action against “ghuspaith” claiming there is no space for them and “freeing” over 10,000 acres of government land from alleged “illegal encroachment.” He criticised the Opposition for opposing SIR, questions constitutional bodies and accusing the vote chori, questioning whether alleged “ghuspaithiya” (illegal infiltrators) be included in the voter’s list.
