Cow-vigilantes force fed cow dung into the mouth of a Dalit man, and attempted to do the same to his 11-year-old son, accusing the man of transporting a bull to sell to a Muslim butcher. The attackers subjected him to caste-based abuse, allegedly assaulted him and his companion, and damaged their vehicle. Police later registered a case against six alleged cow vigilantes.
