At a five-day girls’ residential camp organised by the Geeta Family and Maheshwari Mahila Sangathan, Hindu nationalist speaker Gautam Khattar asked the audience what they had learned. In response, a participant stated that she had learned to “stay away from Muslims”, about “love jihad” and that Muslim men trap Hindu women and turn them into “baby-making machines.” He called for combining shaastra (religious knowledge) with shastra (arms training), urging attendees to take up weapons to protect themselves. He argued that some people “understand only the language of weapons” and spoke on religious conversion, describing it as either “positive” or “negative.” He alleged that Hindus are converted through deception, intimidation, and coercion, claiming that people are induced to abandon the Bhagavad Gita and embrace the Quran through threats and manipulation. Citing The Kerala Story, he further alleged that Muslim men use false narratives to lure and convert Hindu women.
