At the inauguration of a Hindu Jagaran Manch event, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) pracharak Suman Kumar called for Hindus to unite to protect “Hindu society,” claiming that the community faced threats from “love jihad,” “land jihad,” “health jihad,” “population jihad,” and other forms of “jihad.” He claimed that Mughal rulers do not belong to this country and asserted that those who have “betrayal in their blood” can never belong to this country. He fearmongered over the Muslim population, claiming “they are five, and they have twenty-five (children),” and called for every child born after the fourth to be imprisoned or sent to Pakistan or Balochistan. He also claimed that government benefits disproportionately favour Muslims and Christians over Hindus.
