Religious preacher and politician Acharya Pramod Krishnam used dog-whistle rhetoric to refer to Muslims as “pigs” (suar). He claimed India was imperialised for a thousand years due to some Jaichand and Man Singh-like people, claiming they still exist. He praised Rajput, who chose to self-immolate instead of serving “suar ke bacche.” He argued that those who are born on the land have more rights, claiming that other religions developed in Arabia and Jerusalem, asserting therefore, Sanatan and India cannot be isolated.
