BJP leader Kamal Dutt Sharma, at a public meeting with Senior Superintendent of Police, Avinash Pandey and District Magistrate VK Singh, warned that he would inspect all meat shops in the city and vowed to demolish any “illegal” meat shops on the spot, blaming meat consumption for crime and violence.
