At a katha event, far-right influencer Anil Maharaj Devlekar claimed that if the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) wins more seats, Hindus will be forced to wear skullcaps and burqas. He demonized Muslims for not chanting “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram,” called them “deshdrohis” and “haramkhoors,” and urged Hindus to socially boycott them.
