He fearmongered about “infiltrators” stealing the rights of locals, claimed Muslims want to turn India into an Islamic nation and carry out jihad, promoted exclusion of Muslims, and asserted—without evidence—that large numbers of Bangladeshis and Rohingyas have been deported since the BJP came to power in Maharashtra.
