VHP-Bajrang Dal members staged a protest at a mazar on the premises of Weinberg Allen School, demanding its removal. The group alleged that the shrine was an instance of “land jihad” and claimed that multiple shrines were being built illegally in the area. They submitted a memorandum warning that they would take action themselves and construct a Hanuman temple at the site if the shrines were not removed. The school management clarified that the mazar was built on their private land with its consent around 50 years ago and that it had no objection to its presence.
