In Nalasopara, Nitesh Rane Uses Slurs and Urges Hindus to Vote Along Religious Lines

Location: Nalasopara (East), Palghar, Maharashtra

BJP MLA and Maharashtra Fisheries Minister Nitesh Rane addressed a rally, urging Hindus to vote along religious lines. He warned that failure to do so would lead to Muslims raising “sar tan se juda” slogans and playing azaan outside Hindu homes. Rane used derogatory terms such as “gol topiwalle,” “dadiwalle,” and “green snakes” to describe Muslims, promoted conspiracy theories of “love jihad” and “land jihad,” and threatened retribution against those accused of “love jihad,” asking voters to support the Mahayuti alliance to see how Muslims would be “dealt with.”
