During a Mahashivratri event, AHP–Rashtriya Bajrang Dal leader Munish Bhardwaj delivered a speech targeting Muslims, repeatedly referring to them as “mlechhas.” Citing the situation in Bangladesh as a warning, he claimed that wherever Hindus are in the minority or even where “mlechhas” reach 20–30% of the population, they cannot live peacefully or ensure the safety of their families and religious institutions. He issued violent threats, stating they would “put a bhala (spear) in the eyes” of anyone targeting Hindu women and would “bury in graves” those who attack Hindu religious sites or processions, and urged attendees to organise themselves against those he labelled “mlechhas.” Bhardwaj further alleged that so-called “social evils” within Hinduism were the result of Muslim influence, characterised Islam, Christianity, and Judaism as modern creations, and claimed that only “Sanatanis” existed thousands of years ago.
