In Pauri Garhwal, CM Dhami Repeats ‘Love Jihad,’ ‘Land Jihad’ and Infiltration Claims

Location: Bilkhet, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, speaking at the “Nayar Valley Adventure Festival-2026,” highlighted his government’s measures to preserve the state’s “demographic and cultural composition,” alleging that previous administrations had created an imbalance by settling people in areas where they had no prior presence. He said his government would not endanger the future of the state’s children and cited the enactment of laws against religious conversion and riots. He also invoked the anti-Muslim conspiracy theories of “love jihad,” “land jihad,” and “thook jihad,” claiming action against alleged “land jihad,” infiltration (ghuspaith), and demographic imbalance. Referring to “Operation Kalnemi,” he described it as a campaign against those he accused of targeting “Sanatan Sanskriti.”
