Pravin Togadia, founder and president of AHP–Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, glorified the construction of the Ram Mandir and praised the karseva movement, portraying it as a unifying Hindu effort for a “dharm yudh,” claiming villages fight together for it. He further claimed that November 9 was chosen, based on the Hindu calendar, not for peaceful negotiation but for a “war” inspired by the Mahabharata. He boasted of issuing threats of violence against anyone who opposed the Ram Mandir construction, saying that they had declared, “we will step on their chest, crush and build the temple.” He claimed that wherever Hindus become a minority, they have been killed and looted. He demanded a population control law targeting communities he alleged have multiple children and live on government rations, proposing the denial of state benefits, including food, education, healthcare, loans, jobs, and voting rights, for non-compliance, claiming it will maintain the “Hindu majority.” He demanded the expulsion of those he termed “3 crore Bangladeshis” and promoted the campaign “3 bache hindu sache.” He urged Hindus to buy from and employ only Hindus. He further urged the establishment of Hanuman Chalisa to counter Friday Prayers, claiming that when the war breaks out, we will erase their “71 generations.”
