At a Rampur Cultural Literary Awareness Forum event, religious preacher Archana Priya Arya promoted the anti-Muslim conspiracy theory of “love jihad,” claiming that Hindu women are being easily lured into converting to other religions and that weakened maternal values are contributing to this. She described Hindu women as being “torn apart” and “cut into pieces,” with their remains allegedly discarded in drains or women being beaten to death, and said parents should raise children who would rather die than have even their dead bodies fall into the hands of “vidharmis,” whom she described as evil people who would not spare even a corpse. She also said she opposed those she claimed “slaughter cows and consider women as mere fields for cultivation.”
