During a BJP booth-level meeting, BJP leader Dharmraj Verma claimed that some blocks of the constituency have a “Christians and qasayi” (butchers) majority that gives one-sided votes to Muslims. He urged voters to re-elect former MLA Raghvendra Pratap Singh, claiming Singh had transformed Domariaganj from “mini Pakistan” into “real Hindustan” whether the issue is of “Hindutva and development.” He further declared that no “Christians and qasayi” (butchers) now have the power to object to Hindu religious and cultural festivals. He urged Hindu unity, alleging that a Muslim candidate’s victory is treated as a victory for Islam, and claimed Yogi Adityanath had sent Raghvendra Singh to the area. He also urged voters to raise awareness ahead of the upcoming election, alleging that “miya” comes from outside to mislead people.
