At Shri Shyam Bhajan Sandhya, BJP MLA Balmukund Acharya fearmongered over demographic change, alleging a decline in the Hindu population. He claimed Sanatan was once spread across the world but today there are 110 countries of the “father” and 57 countries of the “chadar.” He alleged that various forms of “jihad” and “conspiracy” were taking place in India and promoted the anti-Muslim conspiracy theories of “love jihad” and “land jihad,” and religious conversion. He criticised people prioritising wealth and following “Hum do hamara ek,” claiming that “vidharmi” populations were increasing rapidly and calling it a matter of concern.
