At “Gaja Ghantakaran Mahotsav-2026,” Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami peddled anti-Muslim conspiracy theories of “love jihad,” “land jihad,” and “thook jihad,” claiming his government had acted against such “ghrinit” (abhorrent) mentality, alongside laws targeting alleged “religious conversion.” He highlighted the implementation of strict land laws, asserting that alteration to the state’s demography and culture would not be tolerated. He also referred to “Operation Kalnemi,” the dissolution of the Madrasa Board, and claimed closure of over 250 alleged “illegal” madrasas that he alleged promote a “mullawadi mentality.”
