Three women and a child from West Bengal remained detained in Thane despite possessing Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, and passports. While AIMIM leader Rubina Amar Patel stated that they were Indian citizens, police refused to release them, claiming the documents may have been obtained fraudulently and initiating a cross-state verification process.
