Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh will be meeting after 6 years in Nagpur. Its last meeting was held in 2018. As RSS is completing 100 years of its existence, the annual Pratinidhi Sabha will discuss the work plans for the centenary year. The annual three-day Pratinidhi Sabha will be held in Smriti Bhavan premises, Reshimbag, from March 15 to March 17. Addressing mediapersons at Reshimbag, Sunil Ambekar, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh, said, “A total of 1,529 Pratinidhi from across the nation are expected to attend. About 36 Sangh-inspired organisations and other groups also will participate. The Sabha will have attendees including President and General Secretaries or representatives of organisations like Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bharatiya Janata Party, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh and other organisations. Rashtra Sevika Samiti Pramukh Sanchalika Shantakka, Alok Kumar from Vishwa Hindu Parishad and others also will remain present in the annual meet.”

During the Pratinidhi Sabha, all organisations report and discuss about their works, the issues before them and the efforts towards the possible solutions. The ABPS will review work, especially related to the shakhas. In the centenary year, RSS aims to take the number of shakhas to one lakh from the present 68,000 across the country, added Sunil Ambekar. The consecration of Shri Ram lalla on January 22, this year has ushered in an environment of excitement and joy. This historic event is very important in the Bharatiya perspective. The Pratinidhi Sabha will pass a resolution in this regard, informed Ambekar. He did not disclose the details of the resolution, its form. This Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha will witness the election process for the post of Sarakaryawah and other pratinidhis. It will also finalise the plans for the nation-wide tour by Sarsanghchalak, Ambekar made it clear.

Explaining about Panch Parivartan, Ambekar made it clear, “The ABPS will also discuss in-depth over the Panch Parivartan programme for the benefit of the society. The program includes five key points for social transformation namely ‘samajik samarasata’, ‘kutumb prabodhan’, ‘paryavaran’, the insistence on ‘Swa’ and the duties of

the citizens.” This year nation will be celebrating tercentenary birth celebrations of Ahilyabai Holkar. The Sangh will release a statement on the same. It will be observed between May 2024 and April 2025. The Pratinidhi Sabha will also discuss the Sangh Shiksha Varg with a newly revised curriculum. Dr Jayantibhai Bhadesia, Pashchim Kshetra Sanghchalak was present on the dais. Both the Akhil Bharatiya Sah Prachar Pramukh Narendra Kumar, and Alok Kumar and Dr Amit Kuchwah, Vidarbha Prachar Pramukh were also present.
