During a Dahihandi event, Shiv Sena politician and Shri Ram Sangh president Sagar Baig defended the use of DJs during Hindu festivals while targeting mosque loudspeakers, claiming that multiple Supreme Court guidelines called for their removal and urging Hindus to “shut them down”. He also claimed that DJs at Hindu festivals were acceptable because they played only Hindu and Hindutva songs and not songs from Pakistan.
