Far-right monk Sakshi Maharaj, addressing a gathering at a Hindu Sammelan, described Christianity and Islam as “corrupted cultures.” He claimed that Christians have no connection with the land of the country, alleging that if it were up to them they could “Christianise” the entire country within 24 hours, while also accusing Muslims of attempting to “Islamise” the country.
