Hindu nationalist Chakravarthy Sulibele, speaking at a Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) event, asserted that establishing India as a “Hindu Rashtra” requires a Hindu government and that the country would be at peace under a ruler who worships Hindu gods. He used the phrase “2,000 rupees and 5 kg of rice” to target Christians, alleging that rampant religious conversions were taking place. He urged people to take an aggressive stance against religious conversions and to carry out “ghar wapsi,” encouraging Hindu men to marry women from other religions. He also claimed that efforts to expel Muslims globally had already begun.
